2nd Annual Mobridge Chamber Walleye Classic - Results
Don't miss the 2nd Annual Mobridge Chamber Walleye Classic Fishing Tournament, which will be held Saturday, June 11th and will run from 8am - 4:30pm out of the Bay Resort. This is a $1000 first place guarantee plus $1500 in prizes, including a Lowrance H2O iFinder with the new Premium Navionics Mapping System and a Minkota Trolling Motor. The format will be a 2 or 3 person team with an entry fee of $100 per team.
The rules meeting will be held the night before on the 10th @ 6pm at the Wrangler Conference Room. Registrations will be accepted till 4:30pm that day. You can register by calling the Mobridge Chamber of Commerce at 1-888-614-FISH (3474) and they will get you an application.

The 2nd Annual Mobridge Chamber Walleye Classic Tournament was held Saturday, June 11th, 2005 out of the Bay Resort on Lake Oahe out of Mobridge, SD. Rain for the most part of the day didn't stop the 44 2 & 3 - person teams in their search for the $1000 1st place prize. When it was all said and done, all but 3 teams weighed in a 6 fish limit of walleyes.
Coming out on top was the team of Mark Ryckman (Whitey) and Justin Kapps of Pollock, SD, weighing in 18.25 lbs. 2nd place was the team of Mike Verhulst, Kersten Verhulst, and Ritchie Davis of Mobridge, weighing in 16.35lbs. In 3rd were locals Garret Fischer, Scott Hamre, and EJ Iron Eyes bringing in 15.70 lbs.
