Went out Saturday, fished all day and caught one about 5 lbs.  Had another on in the evening about 10 - 12 lbs, but came unbuttoned.  Pretty slow for this time of the year.  Tried all depths, no difference.  There were an average of 6 boats on the water at any one time.  Have to give a bit of thanks to Randy, who let me use his tire tool after I found I had a flat in the parking lot and couldn't lower my spare.  Will be back in a couple of weeks.

Anything new? The salmon were going real good at this time last year. I hope it's just the new site change and not the fishing thats keeping the reports slow.  Going down next week will report  then.

so far the fishing has been really slow, hopefully it will pick up soon.  Not been many boats out at all, smelt just not there yet.  Drove by face today, only three boats there, not much action.  Keep posting, it all helps

It has been a lot colder this spring than last.  I expect it will be a couple of more weeks before it really turns on.  I have only been out once because it is such a long ways over (I live in Rapid City).  Am going to try it this weekend regardless.

Long time salmon fisherman, first time poster (here)..  Disappointed by the lack of posts here so thought I'd share some positive info...  A buddy of mine was up last weekend, know what he's doing, fished 2 1/2 days..  Mainly evening bite around the outakes and on the 'ridge' northwest.  He got 14 fish avg 6-12lbs.  They worked hard for them..  60 ft down, all spoons...  good luck
