Sweetcorn heaven, the bite is on brought home fourteen carp two to three pounders nice stringer placed them in between my sweetcorn rows, carp have always been the best fertilizer for growing succullent corn. |

Went out to keyhole yesterday and fished in some rainy weather.Caught some stunted drum bass all measuring about 8 inches.Also caught some nice carp.These were very nice specimens measuring from 14 to 20 inchers.They were a real pleasure to catch.I have found dead ones thrown up on shore.Please put these fish back in so they can be caught again.We need to preserve are carp fishery at keyhole |

The walleye fishing at keyhole is a thing of the past.No size restrictions and six fish limit has decimated the walleye population.I think the G&F are planning to turn it back into a rainbow trout lake.Man how sad it is.Keyhole isnt a shadow of what it used to be.I guess we can head out there for the scenery and do some birdwatching. |

To some up the fishing at keyhole in two 2 words Dreadfully Pathetic. Key Hole has been on the decline for 4 years. I've been fishing keyhole for 20 years. went out last weekend and couldnt catch a walleye to save my life. If you are thinking about going to keyhole to fish, i would reccomend you stay home. Walleye fishing at keyhole is as entertaining as watching paint dry.

Fished Key hole hard june 4, 5, 6. And i have got to say. The fishing at keyhole is better than i have seen in years. Catching consistent numbers of 18-20 inch walleye off marina point on gold jigs tipped with a crawler. How lucky we are to have this premier fishery right in our back yard. Headed back up this weekend.

Fished the hole hard June 5, 6, numerous smallmouth stunted bass about 7" long all throwbacks, (1) wally,(1) bugle carp, (1) drum bass stunted also, that about summed up the expedition,the food was better than the fishing.

Caught over 50 crappies this weekend. Nothing larger than 9-11 inches. Couldn't find a walleye to save my life. I did hear the tournament winner weighed in 5 fish over 40 pounds!!!! I can't believe it. Any photos?

Fished very west end of lake shallow 6--12fow simply slow dragging 1/2oz Jigs with Fuzzy Chartuese slow lifts and super slow drops with double minnows,couldn't get large minnows....Good bite, kept 4 over 3lbs....crappie were piled up west side of wind creek point,slow biters,small size....Pats Point shore fishers on south side of Pats Point did good Saturday ,but Sunday was slow they had a couple two pounders.....Carp are along the shore line waiting for them Arrows.....Damm I had the Bow in hand but didn't take with this trip!

Was told by the bar at Pine Haven the water near shore was open, it wasn't; spent money on bait only to find out no open water for casting. BIG dissapointment, but beautiful day. I would think 2 more weeks.

Did not weigh her but it was an amazing fish. I've caught a 32" out of there a couple years back and it weighed right at 14#. I didn't even think about weighing her, did not have a scale. |
