Went out Sunday the 22nd, used everything I possibly could to catch a Walleye, TO NO PREVAIL!!! AGAIN!!!! I had alot of friends out there, and they all had the same results as I, NO FISH!!! But I've heard that Keyhole Walleye are the smartest Walleye on the planet :) On a positive note, I did get pictures today of an individual's Sunday catch of two 13" Walleye.

Caught Two walleye friday one 28 and one 20 saturday caught 7 biggest 24 and smallest 15 all in about 25 foot of water its definatly a morning bite

To all of you supposedly catching all these fish... Where are your pictures of them?? Everyone has a cell phone camera now. Shoot some pics and post them! Why don't you leave any details about how and where you caught them?? Last time I was there it was a very nice sunny saturday. The lake was a ghost town!!! Nobody around. The word is out. The fish are gone and the law enforcement are communists!!

Fished by boat, jigged with minnow, tried Rapalas. Out for 7 hours. Maybe one bite! Fish finder not reading much. So far looking at a repeat of last year. Not going to be eating to many Walleye.

Went out three times this year and caught walleye over 18 inches each time. Waters up just in time to be pitchin some jigs try it boys.

I live at the lake and love seeing negative post. Been out 6 times so far this year and have caught at least 4 16-19 inch walleyes each time. Stop complaining about no fish, had days before ice in fall catching 30 plus fish all over 15 inches. If u dont like the lake dnt fish it.

The lake is a bust. The reports are true. Just go look at the lack of fisherman out there. The law enforcement harasses you. The moss is taking over. And unless you got dated pics of all these walleye ur catching I don't believe a word of it.

It's to bad there are so many negitive reports on here about Keyhole. I go out all the time and do very well on walleyes and crappies. Shore, boat and ice fishing. The lake is far from being fished out. Fishing is slow right now due to water temps. Wait till mid May and the crappie and walleyes will start biting.
The negitive reports are false, just take a look at some of the tournament results. Keyhole produces some of the largest tournament walleye weights around. |

DEAD SEA AS DEAD AS EVER !!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!BEEN ON THE DECLINE FOR 5 YEARS NOW!!!!!GETS WORSE EVERY YEAR!!!!TRIED THE RIVER BELOW THE SEA!!!!DIDNT EVEN GET A WALLEYE !! CAUGHT SOME STUNTED RUFF FISH!!!!! USED TO HAMMER THE WALLEYE THERE FOR YEARS!!!!! YOU COULD COUNT ON IT JUST LIKE THE SUN COMING UP EACH DAY!!!! The Dead Sea Cuff strutted his stuff at keyhole this weekend. Fished down by the dam and hammered the carp once again.Wanted a small bread ball 4 ft below the ice.Took home ten big carp and put them in my smoker right away .They are soo tasty out of the frigid waters of the dead sea. I cant wait to gnaw on them!!

The dead sea cuff heard that the dead sea was as dead as ever.Went up and tried the sea despite the negative press.Started on the west side and worked my way all the way to the dam. Fished from 5 ft all the way to 60 ft and finally found a school of carp at 40 ft that were suspended 3 ft below the ice. Hammered them for about an hour. Never seen or caught anything else.

The KEYHOLE annual winter fishing tournament was held last weekend. Over 50 two man teams were competeing . The fishing hours were 7 a.m to 3 p.m both saturday and sunday .With over 100 anglers and two days of fishing not one pike was landed. The biggest fish of the tournament was a massive 13 OUNCE walleye
 NOT A TYPO THE BIGGEST FISH WAS LESS THAN A POUND!! What has happened to the once infamous keyhole reservior?? |

Fished the dead sea on sunday. Got a bullhead a drum fish and two dink perch.Walleye are not being caught at the sea.??? Talked to several fisherman and no walleye.
