Skunked! Fished anywhere from 5-20 fow and not one flag... Maybe 4-5 fish on the vexilar all day. Water was mucky. Fishn' SUCKED!

Just wondering if anyone has made it out to see how the road is since the wind and snow, gonna head out tomorrow reguardless i guess .

Went out today and was skunked (fished near the dam about 30-70 ft offshore, used smelt and waxies). Other guys said they got 18" pike in morn. Seems like lack of cover will be hard to locate fish w/o vexilar. Good 10-12 inches of ice, but water is still mucky. Were three to 4 groups out there but noone getting nothing. Heading to Jenny on Monday with hopefully some better luck.

I know Newell Lake has a lot of variety. Pike and perch are very thick, as well as bass and walleye.....but usually this lake is very clear. Lately it has become very cloudy and has really slowed the fishing down. But you never know...it's worth a shot..good luck.

went to newell yesterday, ice was a silid 5 inches. fishing was horribled. fished from flags from 7 30 - 3 45 and only had 4 flags, one 15 inch pike. we fished from 4 fow - 20 fow. We had all the flags in 15+ fow. used fatheads and creek chubs. water was incredibly dirty. sucked

i have caught a lot of walleye and northern and bass but i have only caught a hand full of crappie not sayn they arn't there i just havent caught very many

There was about 8 to 9 inches and there wasn't any open water so you should be good.
