Anyone haveing any luck at Pactola now that the ice is just about all gone? Im looking to try to pull some pike this spring, any advice?

Went out the last couple of days ended up catching alot of little hammerhandles and a 7lb pike also landed a 3lb 4oz smallmouth bass (picture will be posted soon). Ice was 16-15inches. Another week of warm weather and the ice will be gone! Remember to stay safe out there!

I'm new to the area and heard word that Pactola has got some huge pike. Was wondering if anybody would be willing to inform me of where these pike are located. Thanks

Lots of Pike in the 30-40 feet deep water yesterday. Many small fish mouthing baits. Caught 5 pike over 5lbs, biggest was about 9 lbs. Fishing was best at dark. Reccomend heavy leader 25lbs and big bait for pike. Trout have been biting throughout the day. Will try next weekend at night.

Fished for a couple hours on Sunday out to the west of the north boat launch. Caught one smaller laker, and saw one other one on the camera. Did happen to loose my plastic grain scoop on the walk out. If anybody happened to pick one up and wouldn't mind giving it back that would be great. Just message me on here.

went out yesterday morning. fished 65-100 fow. caught 4 lakers. 17-22 inches. I forgot how good they fight with a light action 2 foot pole. had a blast. the guys 100 yards away from me must have had 50 flags and caught at least 30 fish. talked to one other guy that had a 28 incher on the ice so it was a good day of fishing for everybody by the looks of it. a couple big ice heaves that had open water in the middle but otherwise the ice was good and there were 4 wheelers cruisin all over. good luck!

we fished on saturday for a few hours and caught 2 lakes 16 & 21. ice was ok until a pressure ridge developed 30 feet from us. yep that kinda ended the day for us. be careful out there |

Fished sunday from 11:00 til 3:30 perfect weather 50 deg and 0 wind put 12 lakers on the ice from 16 to 21 inches in 65-90 foot jigging and tipups 7+ inches of ice its atv time
