posted by: inthewater. Take a look anglers. There are currently 225 2-person teams registered, and the Chamber is looking to peak 300 this year. This is a true tournament format with rules meeting on January 9th and tourney on the 10th.

It is official, there is now ice across Lake Oahe near the Mobridge area. With a cold clipper coming in, there may be people fishing on the main lake by next weekend. Angler

posted by: sdfisher. I talked with a tourism committee member last night, and it looks like they are going to try to have weigh in lanes...thanks to the posts on this web site. They are thinking four or more on one side, less than four on the other. That way if you do have a good fish, and a couple smaller, there will be no complaining. They are going to have two certified scales. THANKS to everyone that voiced there opinion. I also saw on mobidgeoutdoors.com that there are 121 teams!!!!! What do you all think of the two lanes with 4 or more...should that work?
