Welcome Aboard southdakota-outdoors.com

The Total Outdoor Network (TON) is pleased to announce www.southdakota-outdoors.com as the first affiliate partner in what promises to be a truly exciting and ever growing mix of outdoor reports, articles, news, talk forums and videos, as well as the individuals who love to be involved with it! Mike Haas, along with Eric Peterson will be leading the charge in South Dakota. A state filled with endless and bountiful outdoor opportunities.
Mike is a graduate of Valley City State University, with a degree in Business Marketing. He is employed as the Executive Director for the Mobridge Chamber of Commerce.
Living in Mobridge, South Dakota, and having so many fishing and hunting opportunities literally minutes from his front door, is a dream come true for Mike. When we laid out the offer he responded by saying, "I made the move to my dream location, and now I have started my dream venture with, www.southdakota-outdoors.com"
"We have a lot of potential with a site like this going up in South Dakota," said Mike. "There is a wide open market down here, and the outdoorsmen and women in this part of the country have been waiting for something like this to entertain outdoor enthusiasts here in South Dakota for long time. I couldn't think of a better opportunity, I was definitely not going to let this dream opportunity slip by, so it took me about a split second to respond," added Mike during a recent conversation.
Eric Peterson, was born and raised on the family farm near Centerville, South Dakota, which is located in the southeast corner of the state.
Hunting, fishing and the general outdoors has been a way of life in his family. "I remember, even at my earliest years of childhood, I would chase rabbits and squirrels in our grove with a single shot .22," says Eric. From that point on, Eric's passion for the outdoors has only grown stronger.
"I had learned a lot about hunting and fishing from my father and two older brothers and I thank them for passing on their experience and knowledge to me," adds Eric.
After graduating high school and attending college at Dakota State University he then went on to get his Associates Degree in Business Administration, from Southeast Technical University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Throughout college, he was employed at a local bank in Sioux Falls and went on to work for them for a year after college.
A year later, Eric realized that the commotion of a larger city, such as Sioux Falls, was not where he belonged and chose to leave the thousands of cars behind and return to a place where thousands of birds could be found during the fall migration period. He quickly found himself traveling west to Mobridge, South Dakota, where he currently is employed with Dacotah Bank of Mobridge, and has been there for nearly four years.
"Paradise! Pretty much sums it up. After hunting, fishing and traveling most of South Dakota, I can honestly say that I don't feel that I could find a better place to live, work, hunt and fish," said Eric.
